The corridors of my mind

My mind is filled with twisty, turny little corridors that lead off in all directions. My soul wanders these corridors and the rooms within.

Most of the time, I hang out in the Crosstimbers. That’s where I live, but this corridor has doorways to other places that I share with family and friends. These are all bright, happy places.

There’s a corridor where the doors lead to rational, ordered rooms, rooms where mathematics, or physics, or engineering reigns. These are rational places.

In another corridor, doors lead to dreamlands, entire worlds I’ve imagined or dreamed.

One corridor has little craft shops inside. These rooms light up when I’m practicing a learned skill, like proving a theorem, crafting a story, or baking a cake.

In a murky corridor, the doors shimmer with mysteries where my soul goes to meditate on life, meaning, and purpose.

Then there’s my blog, which could originate from any corridor.
